What you never heard of the 1983 Mazda Miata?

1983 might’ve been when the taillights were first penned. The concept/idea was approved that year and designs were judged in April 1984.

They look nice but I fail to see how they are museum-quality art.

They had a 250GTO at some point last summer. I missed it

Even better since I discovered that the MGB stopped production in 1980 anyways.

Haha also yes. But seriously I had the chance to look at an S3 Spider and a NA Miata side by side and the Miata “borrowed” a lot more from the Spider than I would have guessed. Mostly little things like the door handles and hard top brackets, but I’m sure there would be more the more I looked.

I always say the same about my NB and the Dodge Viper!
Miatas absolutely dwarf an MB though lol:

I would bring a lawn chair and just stare at that one for a long time.

I really dont understand it either. I mean they are tail lights. they look good on the cars but I guess the curators know something i dont as i believe its part of the permanent collection or something.

I had a cracked tail light from my NB on the TV stand in my bedroom at my parents house for years. I guess I was a trend setter.
